as expected, the food was amazing and company was divine. i’m grateful for abundance. hope your thanksgiving break has been full and easy, too.

this weekend is a giant work-crunch for me, trying to clear things off the table before i step (gleefully) into full-fledged holiday mode. december is always crazy-busy for us, and this year we’re having houseguests and visitors most of the month, so it’s even more important to get mentally and physically prepared. as much as possible, anyway.

looking forward to decking the halls and setting up the all the nutcrackers, Santas, and sparkle… soon! so soon!

[i first met our sweet neighbor, Gabrielle, when she was about the age Emma is now...it's slightly startling how quickly these children are growing. fortunately, she's sill a very best buddy to both my girls, even in her teens.]
