ah, monday. after my crazy work-weekends, i always try to think of monday as my day of rest.
today’s not just any monday, though. today is a monday with a painfully teething baby, a five-year-old with a runny nose, a house with piles of freshly-sorted but not-yet stored clothes everywhere. today is a monday with no groceries, and a pile of dirty laundry to attend to. today is a monday where we’re on the last coffee filter, we’re out of dishwashing liquid and the machine is full of dirty dishes, the recycling desperately needs to be taken out, and we can’t see the table because it’s covered with so much stuff. in short, today is another real-life, pretty typical monday.
it’s also a monday with new music to listen to, a legitimate excuse to stop everything and cuddle the little one, a reason to make a trip to target (i love target), and weather crisp enough for cozy sweaters and favorite scarves.
i can handle this.
hope your day is filled with calm, cuddles, the smell of clean laundry, and good afternoon nap.

especially a walking distance Target 
if i check my blood pressure there it’s maximum 110 over 70 – clearly it’s good for my health to shop there. ps
hate laundry though… Target can’t fix everything sadly

Take it easy today, ok ! When I start to fret about all the “stuff” to do (whether it is piling up on a table, in a closet or behind the bed), Patrick always reminds me that “everything will get done in time”. And you will see, it usually does. Even if it gets time. Just write down all the stuff you did today before you go to bed, and you’ll realize you have done so much !
We’ll have to get together when I go on my maternity leave (early December), and visit Target ! XOXO
