you guys, i’m tired. like, super-duper didn’t-sleep-a-wink-last-night tired.
i remember emailing my husband some to-do lists at around 4am, right after doing an in-depth amazon comparison on “baby sleep” books (and deciding to just be patient a bit longer and stick with what we already do). i remember reading until the battery died on my phone, then starting a tv program as it was getting light outside. i remember finally drifting off to sleep just before eliza woke up for her early-morning feed. it was just one of those nights, but the mirror and the scale and my skin and my delayed synapses tell me i need to get some real rest sometime soon.

unfortunately, the playground waits for no man…
we’ll start walking as soon as i find a thermos big enough for an entire pot of coffee.
