it’s nearly 11:30pm and my husband just made a perfect pot of coffee. no, it’s not decaf…there’s work to be done, and tonight seems like the perfect time. productivity surge coming any minute.

i dreamt last night that i was front-row-center of a kid-filled school performance, and click-clicking hundreds of pictures. suddenly i looked down at the camera and realized i’d been shooting all along with a film camera and failing to advance the film, so all 700+ pictures had been committed to one frame on one roll of expired film.

it’s a metaphor for something, i’m sure.

i’ll think about it after more coffee.
