ah, monday, you found us again. the forecast is for rain and gloom all week, which reminds me that i never got around to replacing my leaky rainboots. nothing starts a week off quite so well as wet feet (those leaky boots quickly become giant suction cups) and humidity-plagued hair.

actually, if temperaments and little buddies cooperate, this should be a good time to hunker down and get some much-needed work done. heck, i might even make time to dust-and-declutter today. (or maybe not. we’ve still got the pediatrician, ballet class, an evening meeting at church, opposite-side parking to attend to, and three sessions to edit.)

truth told, i quite like rainy days; they feel a bit slower and lazier, less frantic, more open to daydreaming and project-time. they go perfectly with my morning coffee.
