it was a snow day outside. it’s all perfectly cozy inside…cuddly and kind of quiet. nothing and no one moving too quickly, as it’s all still a little new and just a little different than before and just a little surreal. she’s a good baby, so quiet and tiny. her sister thinks she’s amazing. her daddy thinks she’s amazing. her mama thinks she’s amazing and can’t quite reconcile the fact that, if everything had gone as originally scheduled, this baby would still be on the inside, not peeking into the world until next week.
