things are moving right along here. i’m filling the in-between time (when i should be sleeping off the c-section pain and gazing idly at baby) with project completion, auction-setup, and celebrating em’s birthday by delivering cupcakes and juiceboxes to school. honestly, i’m beat.
at this moment i’m thankful for two beautiful daughters, a baby with a sweet smile (no, it’s not gas; she’s smiling. shhh…a mother knows the difference), a husband that doesn’t mind feeding me when my hands are full, patience, swaddling blankets, and an ever-present stash of brownie mix for when i absolutely needed to bake something sweet at midnight (baby-feeding every hour leaves me hungry!). i’m thankful for snuggle-time and quiet-time and being able to wear normal clothes again (soon!). i’m thankful for happiness and bliss, even if the last week has been a little overwhelming.

that is one of the most beautiful newborns i have ever seen…..seriously. usually they are a little, um, smooshed and weird looking the first few weeks. well, at least MINE were! ha! congrats on another beauty.
