oh yeah, you might have heard…we got hit by a blizzard. multiple feet of snow, remarkably unplowed roads, even city busses have been getting stuck in the in the muck; our “week off” from work/school/outside-the-home obligations couldn’t have come at a better time, and for the most part we’ve been able to stay inside and enjoy the scenery and warmth from the 7th floor. (ok, i did sing a funeral, buy some groceries and walk home a very long slushy 15 blocks today, but now i’m really in stay home mode). emma and bear have been keen to get out and about, and i accompanied them for one block with the camera, got the 30 or so pictures that will keep it in my happy memory, and came right back home for tea, a warm bath, and a good book.

i’m happy to take my adventures in small doses this week, and enjoying the quiet spaces in-between.
