Happy Thanksgiving!!!! Whether you’re baking, brining and imbibing with an overflowing table of family or watching the parade & meeting up for a 2:00 lunch reservation at a NY restaurant like we are, I hope today reminds you of all the good and happy things in life and renews your spirits as we head into the winter holiday season. You are very, very loved.

Today I’m thankful for so much, big and small, but more than anything I’m thankful for my family…the ones who share a bloodline with me as well as the ones who have become part of that bigger, close family of friends and loved ones by choice. I’m thankful for such wonderful, supportive parents, my brother, sister-in-law, niece, brothers-in-law, mother-in-law, etc., etc., etc…i’ve learned and grown from every one of them, and i value the sincere nonjudgement of good family more with each passing year. I’m also thankful for those friends, near and far, who love me and nurture me even at my most fragile and most cranky and most nutty and most rambling and most vulnerable; you are all in my heart, and life is better because of you. And of course, every minute of every day I’m thankful for my strong, hardworking, loving, hilarious husband, our Emma Magnolia who brightens every day and makes everything more joyful, and for Baby Beauty who is already such a vital and energetic part of our lives (we can hardly wait to meet you!).
