with laughter, running, and sand in our shoes. with relatives visiting from the other side of the globe and relatives who live uptown but are treasured, too. with tummy-aches and flare-ups and giant bruises and rabid allergies. with field-trips and adventures and happy lunchtimes spent with friends. with summer clothes and ponytails and sitting in the sun. with early mornings and late nights (staying up late to finish a good book). with career progress and gigs booked and new projects ahead. with gratefulness and honesty and relief.

these days have been full and good.
