we did.

hooray for family time, for long rambling walks through central park, for green grass and blooming trees, for fish-and-chips at a favorite pub (and buttercup cupcakes for dessert, because this was the last day before The Great Diet of 2010). hooray for pigtails and tap class and funny dance moves. hooray for singing along to the music at brunch (crimson and clover, little pink houses). hooray for happiness and contentment and days that are so full of life that everyone’s asleep as soon as their heads hit the pillow.
