drinking: cold diet coke on my left and hot green ginger tea on my right

listening to: a mix of david bowie, bon jovi, abba, peter gabriel and elvis. my itunes is a little bit crazy tonight…

making: lollipop valentines cards and homemade marshmallows

excited: about our (2nd annual) casey+jose family trip to disney world next month.

also pretty excited: to sing at carnegie hall next week.

annoyed: that even after 12 surgeries and lots of positive thinking, my crohn’s disease is still such a recurring issue.

and further: thinking that, since i can’t seem to digest most of what i eat, i should at least exhibit the “rapid weight loss” side effect.

but not really complaining, because: it’s an annoyance, but it’s not going to kill me.

sure, we lost the game, but: my favorite moment sunday was having an impromtu family dance party (with cow-bell and egg-shakers) to Rapper’s Delight and some other hilariously old-school rap

writing: an assigned lenten meditation on the texts of Psalm 30: 1-6, 11-13, Isaiah 65:17-25, and John 4:43-54

and if that didn’t blow you away, i’m also: really thinking about converting to catholicism

but don’t worry because: i’m still pretty rabidly pro-obama and pro-choice and pro-independent-thought and anti-judgement and anti-idiot
