greetings from the house of Poorly & Tired. my crohn’s has been active this week, emma’s got a fever and spent the better part of last night under the spell of some crazy psychedelic nightmares that made her start shouting angrily in her sleep every 20 minutes. for bear’s contribution to the family-fall-apart week, he’s lost mobility in his neck and can’t turn it right or left. wheee, we’re having fun!
actually, we are having fun in between the little flare-ups that need attention. and we’re mightily blessed to be able to just snuggle in today with warm drinks, warm blankets, nowhere to be, and nothing to do except get better. it’s the start of a four-day weekend and Chez Jose, and although this wasn’t quite the celebration i’d planned, i’m really ok with some enforced downtime (and clean-the-house time. and hopefully even some sort-through-the-mess-in-the-closet time).
back later with some lists. in the meantime, have you read my mom’s blog this week? i really think you should.

i hear you about intestinal problems. i’ve been living with an “anergic” colon for 2 years. had the majority of it removed last March… but things are still pretty bad. what do you do for the pain? most days I’m attached to my heating pad. hope you guys feel better soon!!!! : )

Thank you, Melissa!
I’m going to keep coming back here for inspiration.
Your darling family is absolutely beautiful.
All the best in 2010, dear old flickr friend!
