[things i love]

~ a very clean floor
~ the charter for compassion (yes! indeed!)
~ bundles of [pretty much anything] tied up with a pretty ribbon
~ footless tights and chuck taylors with casual swingy skirts
~ vintage typewriters (i have a turquoise one, but never have figured out which ribbon it needs…)
~ red chapstick
~ cape cod at thanksgiving
~ the nook e-reader (ok, i’m just guessing. i think i would love it. also, it makes me giggle to say “nook-e…”)
~ the guy that rides his bike around the nieghborhood with a boombox blaring latin music. it’s more unexpected and refreshing than the ice cream truck, and hearing him ride by with his bicycle-sound-system makes me smile every time.
~ my mom’s newest blog-posts, particularly the interview with dad…

[things i do not love]

~ people that let their kids break the rules or cut in line while my kid is patiently standing by
~ holidays that are celebrated on wednesdays. throws the whole week off…
~ self-doubt
~ forgetting to put the leftovers (in this case: sour cream apple pie) in the fridge, then worrying so much about food poisoning and tummy-ailments that i have to throw the whole thing away just to be safe
~ typing half a page then accidentally deleting it, then being too tired to retype the whole thing
~ forgetting people’s names
