. . . . . . . . .
this weekend we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary, had fancy/amazing/blissful dinner at Daniel, saw that lovely/melancholy Wild Things movie, and bought Phish tickets. i sang a beautiful wedding, had dinner + drinks with neighbors down the hall until 2am, sang two masses, took emma to tap class then church (it was ‘st. joseph’s school’ day and she was a greeter), had my favorite goat cheese omelette and lots of coffee for brunch, had a photoshoot with a pint-sized pirate, updated my blog, renewed and installed important things like norton anti-virus, got *this close* to unveiling my business photoblog, got *this close* to finishing/posting a session from two weeks ago, found/ordered a gift for a newborn person, completed about 6 more inches of cable-knit-scarf, and made chocolate chip cookies (for em’s teacher).
on the notebook to my right there is a column where i have repeatedly added, edited and re-imagined our monthly budget projections for the next two months, a list of new blog passwords and pixel sizes, a “things to buy” christmas list, a note reminding me that school pictures are tomorrow and we need to buy a ticket to the school halloween party, a rep list for the cd i’m making, and a to-do-NOW list that has no fewer than 30 items. the cat is making those obnoxious heaving-pukey sounds, we really need to get ready to go to school, and amazon sent me a note saying the new vacuum was shipped via usps and i’m supposed to pick it up at the post office(?!?! not gonna happen). obviously, i’ve got to buckle down and get some work done here.
it’s monday morning and i’m already exhausted (but happy).
hope your day starts off with a smile, no matter how long your list is.

Your uber-productivity can really make a slow movin’ small town girl feel laaaaaaazzy. I don’t know how you do it! But it sounds like fun!
