despite my tinkerbell year (i was 3, i think), the glow-in-the-dark skeleton costume dad made for me in kindergarten (using super-reflective highway tape for the ‘bones’), and the Underdog years,  i never particularly loved halloween. i always ate the candy too fast (or got too many of those awful black and orange hard peanut butter toffee things, or just loads and loads of tootsie rolls), and although it was fun, trick-or-treating never quite lived up to my grand expectations.

i have to say…having a good camera, pretty weather and a cute model sure does help me enjoy the halloween thing a whole lot more. i think the cute little model is enjoying it too.

[more pictures to come. of course.]

I’m with you on being lukewarm about Halloween, but I always look forward to It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. It is not only a classic, but the soundtrack has some very cool flute playing. In fact I have always wanted to arranged a piece for flute and combo using the music from the Great Pumpkin special. Perhaps one day!
