~ starbucks now sells instant coffee packets (which really just makes me want to buy some sanka, because it reminds me of grandma and isn’t half bad). sadly, their instant coffee is probably as over-roasty as their in-store java

~ my mom told emma she’s visiting “sometime soon” (for our annual viewing of the Radio City Christmas Show, probably at the beginning of december) and now emma asks every 7-minutes if JoJo is “here yet, or still on the plane? i want her to come to my house now!” …it’s going to be a long two months ’til she gets here.

~ i got a note from the principal and the teacher asking to me be a PreK-3 Class Mom. yeah, i’m Class-y…but gosh this sounds like a lot of work! first meeting tomorrow, first party at halloween…

~ it’s fall! that means i can officially start wearing my fringed moccasin boots and start knitting hats and fingerless gloves
