gosh, it’s been a while. what can i say? first we we in the car for 13 hours, then we didn’t have internet, then we had internet on a different computer but not wireless (and we were honestly too tired and busy to post or even look through pictures), then we went back to the place where we didn’t have internet at all, then we were in the car for 13+ hours again. my blog-as-you-go intentions were dashed, but the vacation was great.

i have so many farmland adventures to share with you (tractor rides, campfires, cowboy boots, cousins and babies all over the place, fuzzy baby chicks, emma’s first-ever visit to Indiana University and my uncharacteristically spontaneous decision to re-enroll), but… but. look at the date? it’s kind of an emotional one for me, one best spent cuddling family and walking The City, being extra-grateful and a little introspective, creating new memories and honoring the old ones.

we’ve also returned with 257% more stuff than we left with, and i’m in the mood to purge some clutter and make a clearing for new adventure and bountiful new energy.
