. . .
sorry for the silence; things are moving quickly around here. booking photo sessions, frantically making notes and learning about the licensing and programming issues involved in producing a (small) commercial cd, working on the Mondo Beyondo project, and trying to fit in free time with family and a good book.
i’m alternating between “i’ve got this!” and “holy cow, i’ll never get everything done!”, but more than anything i’m just anxious and hopeful and grateful to see all the little pieces of the puzzle start coming together.
we’re leaving in a few hours for The Great Hoosier state, looking forward to the chain-restaurant delights of Steak & Shake, Arby’s, Fazoli’s, Rally’s, and plenty of home-specific joints (Donut Bank, home of the best chocolate long-john in the country, here i come!). obviously, i’ve packed exercise clothes and running shoes to at least *try* to avoid the mid-western spread…
i’m not sure how it’s happened that i (queen of the unreturned phone calls and unanswered emails), still have so many friends back home, but there’s a lengthy list of VIP’s that i’m ridiculously excited to sit back and catch up with. (there’s always extra cookie dough and extra drinks at mom & dad’s; come one, come all!)
first, though: 13 hours of driving, SuperWalmarts, and our traditional photo-stop at the original LOVE statue.
xoxo

I’ve missed the updates (of course I say this and haven’t updated in a few days, either. lol), but enjoy your time away, chica. I’m looking forward to photos and more updates on your Comfort project.

These pictures stole my breath. They are poetry in and of themselves, and the image of the rainbow sky was purty gorgeous also.
Thank you for the compliments on my blog and writing. Not sure I deserve them, but thank you.
