~ give me the last two pretzels, but only if i agree to admit they look like “peace signs, not pretzel signs!”
~ tell me you want to “read me” a story, then proceed to go through a cookbook describing each meal.
~ repeatedly turn off the tv and say “can we turn on some music and dance now?”
~ suggest we wear matching flowers in our hair
~ draw a picture of the sun, then say it’s “beautiful and strong like mommy”
~ stop what you’re doing, look me in the eyes and say “i need to snuggle you!”
