what i wish i could say:
no time to blog, dear readers! i’m knee-deep in travel and summer fun, singing a few concerts, taking beach pictures at sunset and chasing beautiful people in beautiful light by day (when i’m not taking a break for delicious coffee, calorie-free but delightfully decadent scones, and getting lost in a good book). be back when summer’s over, well-rested and worry-free!

what i really can say:
no energy to blog. i hate to complain, but my Crohn’s is acting up pretty badly. it makes the everyday chores difficult to get through and makes my mind a little foggy and gives me the blues. i’m countering the blues with lots of good music and as much laughter as possible, and counting my blessings because i know it could be worse. still….it’s hard to sit long enough to post or write. oh! and the forecast for today is “oppressively sticky and soul-sappingly humid”, so there’s that too.

the list of chores keeps getting longer, but i think my body’s agreeing with my mind in saying “something’s got to change”. so you see, i’m not JUST poorly and fussy, i’m also hatching a new plan of action, and getting closer and closer to breakthrough.

i miss y’all. be back shortly (hopefully).
