[things i've learned]

~ on a hot day, no matter where you think you’re going, always pack a swimsuit.
~ in the absence of a swimsuit, the ballet leotard she just wore for class will do just fine.
~ on rainy days, a few trips to the laundry room and a jaunt to the corner drug store can be used to run off some energy
~ if you have lots of energy on rainy days, you’re probably under five years old. reasonable adults prefer to slow down…
~ if you find yourself at the corner drug store on a gloomy rainy day, being dragged around by multiple children under five years old, a new tube of red lipstick can lift your spirits. (bonus if the lipstick’s on sale for $3.97)
~ talking about the weather isn’t particularly interesting. but it can provide an easy excuse to post some summer snapshots.
