[insert excuses here about where i've been: rehearsals, performances, parties, visits from VIPs, photoshoots, cleaning out the kitchen cupboards... on second thought: skip the explanations and pretend i wasn't MIA for the last 10 days. yeah!]

at long last, here are some pictures from emma’s last day of school. next year she’ll be starting pre-k3 at st. joseph’s, which we’re very excited about (even though they do have to wear unphotogenic sweatsuit uniforms every day). before that, at the end of june, she’s starting dance classes (tap & ballet). she’s over the moon with excitement, telling perfect strangers all over the neighborhood about her dancing classes and showing off the dance moves she’s already rocking.

to oooh and ahhh over how much she’s grown this year, here are the first day of school pictures.
