~ Bear is sick with the flu. he went to sleep at 6:30 yesterday and woke up at 9 this morning feeling some better (but still generally flu-ish. not swine flu-ish; human flu-ish). now he’s decided he’s well enough to brave the westchester mall with the kids & me today. fun!

~ on a total random and uncharacteristically brave whim, i booked a photo shoot for friday. to have MY picture taken. i hate having my picture taken….but something about this felt like something exciting to do (when i booked it, at least). this in addition to the “official” headshots i’m having. weird.

~ i am officially banning any foods from the house that can be picked up and eaten “by the handful”. cheerios, goldfish (i don’t even like them! why am i eating them?!), and little candies left over from easter will be the death of me no more…

~ in case i haven’t mentioned it recently, i want to buy a house in cape cod. even rainy weeks like this are perfect and serene in The Cape.

~ a big donation truck is coming to our building next monday to collect all manner of junk and give-aways…..so i’m spending the next week GUTTING the apartment of clutter and excess……..
