scenes from an italian restaurant:
these are actually from yesterday; i’m trying to get into the habit of more snapshotty, wordless weekends… tomorrow’s a very full day, but i have a Church-y series i’ve been meaning to post. stay tuned.
. . . . . . . . .
today was the first perfect summer/late-spring saturday in NYC, and Central Park was so perfectly filled with people and energy. the colors of central park were pastel blooms, vibrant greens, and warm yellow sunshine. people were stretching out like kittens in the warmth, finally wearing sandals and summer clothes, so relieved to officially shed the heaviness of winter. we walked for hours, discovering and rediscovering the hidden wonders of the great lawn, the rambles, the bridges, the boathouse, the live music all around, the performance artists, the alice in wonderland statue, the magnolia trees and so much more.
here comes the sun, and i say: it’s all right…
