i’m a great project thinker-upper, but pretty low on finishing skills. that’s why 2009 is (among other things) The Year of Making it Happen. come on….let’s make something!

~ embroider some linens (pillowcases, handkerchiefs, etc.)
~ knit a sweater
~ learn to play the ukelele (so much cooler than you’re thinking it is)
~ make garlands for cheery days
~ a new listy bloggy-mom thing i’m cooking up with Mighty-J. details to follow shortly…
~ grow a plant. oh, look what i got: an indoor lavender kit (complete with purple ‘gardening’ gloves!). this could be something….
