picking lavender by the little north tustin trail, we’ve decided to set up a stand and make a living with this stuff… or at the very least, we’ve been having fun tying our little bouquets with pretty ribbon and hanging them to dry. i wonder if it’s legal to pick such wildflowers?!
in the midst of a dizzying day involving minnie mouse, a pair green mouse-ears embroidered with the name “moon”, two rides on the teacups, and hundreds of pictures inside the revamped small world ride to share with emma when i get home, i managed to lose my brand-new front-tooth (just a temporary crown, put in last monday) biting into some tasty but totally-not-worth-losing-a-tooth-over treat. fortunately, my dentist is on speed dial and recommended an adhesive from the drugstore or even super-glue until i see him next monday. the first aid building at disneyland was nice and quiet but ultimately unfruitful… i bought the dental adhesive from the drugstore but after losing the tooth again, resorted to the super glue, realizing all the while that this is surely my mother’s secret curse/guilt-karma for going to The Happiest Place on Earth without my little princess (albeit for photo-research and ideas for our upcoming Dis-WORLD trip!)…
tomorrow’s another restful but adventure-filled day, and i AM getting those headshots taken, even if i have to smile a mona lisa toothless grin. back to nyc on saturday, feeling refreshed, relaxed, and soooo ready to cuddle with family.

wow, i really did the guilt-thing well, but what makes you think that i smugly think i-told-you-so? i would never say that. and i’m still not completely conceding the front-top-tooth vs- front-bottom-teeth argument. but i’m glad you had a good time and that you’re safely home in time for a couple of feet of snow. 3 weeks…xoxo
