grateful for all this and more:
our bookstore dates (Bear and i could be happy anywhere on earth so long as there’s a decent bookstore that doesn’t mind us loitering and reading aloud. bonus points for a good cafe and comfy chairs.)
a good cup of coffee. of course. (don’t worry, i made her give it back. life’s too short to be sharing my coffee with pre-schoolers.)
bedtime laughing fits
also grateful for: friends that appreciate the little things, having financial security and a home we love, Ravel’s Bolero, standing oceanside, angel food cake, singing at Lincoln Center, really smooth ink pens, fresh-dried herbs from mom’s garden, movie nights, wikipedia, and oh! my new haircut, too:
(it’s kind of gwyneth-ish, but without the ridiculous pretension-levels she exudes… (oh, but WITH the fake british accent. i’ve got that down!)
