oh, gosh….same old same old going on here. i’m going to let you in on a little something, guys: i am Very Cranky these days. combined with a liberal sprinkling of restlessness, lethargy, and this fabulously annoying little blister inside my mouth, and i can’t believe i just this second realized i’ve got the winter blahs. huh. snuck up on me this year….

so, in the absence of anything exciting or new to talk about (and sadly without a plan to visit warmer climates any time soon) here’s a list.

things i’ve bookmarked recently:

~ recipe for light wheat bread. (sounds good, but makes me really want to splurge on that kitchen-aid stand mixer.)

~ Bobama’s letter to his daughters.

~ these adorable (and inexpensive!) mary-janes. i have thus far not ordered a pair (it’s recession-time! we’re saving up to move to The Cape! emma’s school deposit is due tomorrow!)….but i keep going back to look.

~ article on the importance of butter quality in cookie baking.

~ i’m in love with this font, even though i have nowhere to use it.

~ interesting metafilter thread on treatment for aging skin (note to my SIL: i promise to try the Mary Kay products soon and report back!)

~ i kind of love this doily clock. kind of.

~ i briefly decided (and quickly became exhausted at the thought) to write a grant proposal allowing us to travel to all the major replicas of the LOVE statue, taking pictures along the way.

~ stuff white people like. i realize i’m really really late in my discovery of this site…more embarassing is how surprised i am to be so verifiably white. i had no idea!
