[a week in snapshots]
. . . . . . . .
she’s finally at an age where she (sort of, kind of) understands the phone.
she likes to talk to Grandma, Pawpaw, Lola Son, and Tita Chit (aka “Tato Chip”) every evening.
.

.
every morning she drags her bench into the kitchen and asks if it’s time to make pie. yes, baby, it’s always time to make pie…
.

.
she makes me “tea” in the afternoons (note the color coordinating crayons inside the dishes. martha would be proud, i think.)
.

.
and we enjoy a Real cup of tea after dinner
(herbal/caffeine free with a spot of milk for Miss Em. seriously, she loves it!)
.

.
we play football in the house….
.

.
and sometimes Hide and Seek (where’s Emma?)
.

.
we have pithy conversations during what’s supposed to be nap time
.

.
one afternoon we ran (and climbed) around Central Park
.

.
and met up with Tito Brian, who thinks it’s ok to give an almost-three year old an i-phone
(she needed to check her portfolio…)
.

.
and the little fashionista stole my sunglasses & fell in love with this coat in the window
(um, Em….it’s practically the same as the one you’re wearing!)
