nine years ago this week, eric was driving to evansville from indianapolis. when he got pulled over by one of indiana’s esteemed law enforcement agents, and the officer asked “what’s the rush?”, eric told the officer he was on his way to get married. the officer said “can i give you some advice? don’t do it!” i guess the guy thought he was being funny; eric was not as amused. thankfully.
we’ve been married nine years today, and it’s right around the 14-year mark for our relationship, too. that’s pretty much all of our adult lives. we’ve been through so much…for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, for better better better yet… thanks for being my other half, bear. i love you more than words.

That is great, but some of us wouldn’t do it again if you paid us 10 million dollars, and we wish we would have listened to all the warnings (should be outlawed)! Marriage is not the right subject to discuss with me, certainly!

we’ve been together 14 year, too, and celebrated our 7th anniversary on october 6th.
