the way eric is always thinking of ways to make me happy, like finding spots for me to take pictures, and taking emma out all day on Saturdays so i can have “some time off”
the fact that crayola washable markers are really as washable as the title suggests. so far, anyway.
the way emma says “what’re-you-doooing” like it’s one soft sweet word, and the way she pats the seat next to her and says “seet down!”

dad got a video when you all were leaving last week, when she’s saying: no pink crocs. no white car. runs into the tv room and says “seet down”. love it all…
